Growing up in the urban streets of South Jamaica, Queens (NYC), Ken Dahl always found serenity simply by writing rhymes in his notepad and showcasing them to his family. This passion for poetry eventually evolved into a love for songwriting -- both of which he discovered in a weird way.

Following a suspension from school due to problemsome behavior, his grandmother made every source of entertainment off limits for Ken -- including the television, radio, and phone -- for the entire duration of his suspension. With very little options to keep himself occupied, he picked up a large notepad and began writing.

Even after his suspension was over, Ken Dahl continued to engage in his newfound hobby. He found that it was a welcome escape from a world he couldn't control. With his pen, he was able to create an environment, govern it, and live in it, even if it were only just for an hour. This fascination of creativity eventually led to a professional pursuit of music.

During his journey, Ken Dahl found that the biggest things that got him into trouble as a kid -- his strong personality and fearless way with words -- would be his biggest allies as an artist. They were the main ingredients that he sprinkled throughout each one of his songs -- one of the most notable being the first track he released, "If This P*ssy Could Talk". The song amassed thousands of plays across the internet -- and the promotional video that followed prompted rave reviews from bloggers and viewers on the web, including media mavens Perez Hilton and Michael Kay.

After taking time to record a catalog of original music, Ken Dahl has made a move to London to continue his journey as an artist and songwriter.
